Penang, Malaysia 2015
Malaysia being a former subject to British colonialism George Town (named after King George III of course) is a treasure trove of captivating architecture, host to an even more entrancing culture. Being mixed race of Malaysian and English ethnicity, my family and I visit Malaysia every couple of years. With those years of holiday experience, George Town never fails to bring the multiculturalism of Malaysia to attention. There, the bountiful fruits of European tourism is assuredly reaped (insert dubious photo of large white man pushed in trishaw via tiny malay man), which is compelling to observe as it alludes to how people survive purely from the consumption of their land by those born in what may as well be a different world. The photographs I captured were taken while walking through George Town midday on a weekend.
