Erika Rier is a fine artist and illustrator working mostly in inks and paints on paper in a style she calls folk surrealism. She learned to sew when she was 6, crochet when she was 7, knit when she was 8, embroider when she was 10, and weave when she was 16; drawing she is always learning.

My penchant for sunsets, the ocean and notebooks are just a small nuance of who I am since my identity is constantly fluctuating. And I believe that it’s due to the fact that this generation of Millennials are lost. So I read literature in order to find myself and I write so that I can build a new world where creativity, colour and magic can be revived once again.
Singer. Actor. Feminist. Sugar.

But these days she has her head stuck in a book or magazine, or she’s typing away on her computer or talking to a camera.
