The Isolation Series created with the aim of documenting the feeling of solitude many experienced in the first national lockdown, still holds the emotional relevance as we enter into this second lockdown.
Within the beginning weeks of the first lockdown, I found myself unmotivated. Struggling to sleep one night, I reached for my camera and began the Isolation Series. Other than wanting to reveal the boredom and repetitiveness of isolation, this was an experimental project.
As a photographer who primarily photographs other people, continuing to make work proved somewhat challenging. Though studying a degree in fashion photography, my style strays more towards a fine art approach of image-making.
